As the Founding Editor of IJCLCG Mr. Riddhiman Mukherjee oversees the editorial direction and strategic growth of the publication. Backed by an Academic foundation from Symbiosis International University and receiving an LL.M from NALSAR University of Law and Indian institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), he is dedicated to fostering for high impact legal discourse. His mission is to provide a scholarly platform to contribute to the ever evolving landscape of Commercial and Constitutional Law.

Managing Editor

Mr. Nandamudi Venkat Abhinav serves as the Managing Editor of the IJCLCG by playing a pivotal role  in overseeing the journal's editorial operations including the review process and author co-ordination.   Backed by an Academic foundation from Symbiosis International University his interests include International law, and Constitutional Governance and is committed to fostering rigorous academic discourse through this journal.

Isha Shrivastava

Student Editor

Isha Shrivastava is a law student with a keen interest in commercial law, corporate governance, and data privacy. She has gained practical experience through internships at Dhir & Dhir Associates, CyberSRC Consultancy, and Scriboard, where she worked on compliance frameworks, legal research, and regulatory risk assessment.

She has authored and co-authored research papers on corporate law and the evolving impact of artificial intelligence on intellectual property systems, reflecting her engagement with contemporary legal developments. She has also actively participated in corporate law courses and academic summits, further strengthening her academic and professional foundations.

Professor Parth Sharma

Presently associated as a Assistant Professor at Mahindra University, Hyderabad and formerly associated with Symbiosis law School, Nagpur where he served as the Faculty-in charge of the Research and Publication team. He graduated from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National law University, Lucknow and LL.M. and M.Phil from Christ University, Bangalore and pursued his Doctor in philosophy from National law school of India University,  Bangalore.   

His academic and research interests lie at the intersection of law, technology, and public policy, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary scholarship. He has contributed to several research publications with reputed academic publishers and remains actively engaged in advancing academic writing and research-driven initiatives .

Dr. Thillainayagam Sankaravel

President at Medarb international &     Ex-Associate Director at India Business Solutions (IBS) Pvt, Ltd.

 Dr. Thillainayagam Sankaravel is the President of MedArb International, where he spearheads initiatives in Mediation and alternative dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation and conflict management. He is known for his strategic and collaborative approach to resolving complex disputes, fostering efficient and stakeholder-oriented outcomes.
He previously served as Associate Director at India Business Solutions (IBS) Private Limited, where he led multidisciplinary teams across a wide spectrum of legal domains, including civil, criminal, insurance, and arbitration matters. Beyond his practice, he is deeply involved in professional training and capacity-building, delivering programs on legal awareness, communication, and conflict resolution for organizations and professionals.

Mr. Chirag Mittal is a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (England & Wales) and is enrolled with the Bar Council of India. He is a dispute resolution specialist associated with Resolvify Limited, with cross-jurisdictional experience spanning India and the United Kingdom. 

Mr. Mittal is a certified mediator with the International Mediation Institute and serves as an Associate Mediator with the Civil Mediation Council (UK). His work focuses on advancing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) through accessible, structured, and practice-oriented frameworks.

His expertise lies in legal drafting, dispute resolution strategy, and the development of innovative legal solutions aimed at improving access to justice. He adopts a practical, solution-driven approach to legal education and training, and is actively involved in building ADR-focused platforms and initiatives.

Ms. Mohana Nijhawan 

Ms. Mohana Nijhawan is a principal Associate at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co. where she specialises in insolvency and bankruptcy law with a strong focus on complex dispute resolution  and civil litigation.

With over a decade of experience in the legal field, she has advised and represented clients across a broad spectrum of contentious matters particularly in commercial disputes. Prior to her current role Ms. Mohana Nijhawan was associated with leading law firms including Chandhiok and Mahajan, Luthra and Luthra Partners,Chambers of jaitley and baksheywhere she built substantial expertise in civil litigation and dispute resolution.

She has consistantly engaged with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks, and has contributed to thought leadership in the field, including participating as a panelist in technical sessions on banking and insolvency laws.

Ms. Nijhawan brings a nuanced, practice oriented perspective to insolvency jurisprudency and continues to be actively involved in shaping discourse in this domain.

Dr. Karun Sanjaya

Dr. Karun Sanjaya is an Assistant Professor of Law at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, and a distinguished scholar specializing in Intellectual Property Rights and Information Technology Law.

He has established an extensive research portfolio comprising over 70 works, including more than 30 Scopus-indexed publications. His expertise lies at the intersection of law and technology, with a primary focus on unconventional trademarks (specifically olfactory and taste marks), AI liability frameworks, and personality rights.

Dr. Sanjaya’s academic excellence has been recognized through a series of prestigious honours, including the Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer Memorial Merit Award (received in both 2019 and 2022), the Adv. P.F. Thomas Memorial Gold Medal (2019), and the Dr. K.N. Chandrashekharan Pillai Gold Medal (2022). His work continues to influence the global discourse on digital governance and the evolving landscape of intellectual property.

Author's Guidelines :

The Indian Journal of Commercial Law and Constitutional Governance (IJCLCG) invites original and unpublished submissions from scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students in the fields of commercial law, corporate governance, constitutional law, economic regulation, and related areas.

 

1.Categories of Submissions : 

​

The Journal accepts submissions under the following categories:

 

1. Articles

  • 5,000 – 8,000 words

  • Comprehensive and analytical research papers on issues relating to commercial law, constitutional governance, financial regulation, and economic policy.

2. Notes and Comments

  • 3,000 – 5,000 words

  • Critical analysis of contemporary legal developments, judicial decisions, or legislative changes.

3. Case Comments

  • 2,000 – 3,000 words

  • Analytical discussions of recent landmark judgments.

4. Book Reviews

  • 1,500 – 2,500 words

  • Reviews of recently published books relevant to the journal’s focus.

    (Word limits are inclusive of footnotes.)

2. Formatting Guidelines : 

 Submissions must comply with the following formatting requirements:

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font Size: 12

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, Size 10

  • Alignment: Justified

All citations must be provided in footnotes.

​

3. Abstract 

 All submissions must include an abstract of 150-250 words summarising the main arguements and themes of the manuscript. Authors must also provide 4-6 keywords.

​

4. Citation Style

Submissions must conform to the 21st Edition of the Bluebook Citation Style.

​

5. Originality and Exclusivity

  • Submissions must be original and unpublished.

  • Manuscripts must not be under consideration by any other journal at the time of submission.

  • Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript.

​

6. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Under this process, the identities of both the author and the reviewer remain confidential. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to any submission.

7. Submission Procedure

All Manuscripts must be uploaded in Microsoft Word (.doc/docx) format electronically through the Journal's online submission system(Google Form) accessible via the " Submit Manuscript" link on the website.

Authors are required to complete the submission form and upload the manuscript.

Submissions made through email or other channels will not be entertained.

8. Author Information

Authors must submit a separate cover page containing:

  • Name of the Author

  • Institutional Affiliation

  • Email Address

  • Contact Details

The main manuscript must not contain any identifying information to maintain anonymity during the peer review process.

9. Plagiarism Policy 

This Journal follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy. Manuscripts with Plagiarism exceeding 10 percent similarity (excluding references and quotations will be rejected. Use of AI generated content is strictly prohibited in the manuscripts and if found will face immediete rejection.

10. Copyright Policy

Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the right to publish the manuscript. Authors retain copyright over their work.

​

11. Publication Policy 

The Journal Does not charge any submission fee. However, a publication and processing fee may be applicable upon acceptance of the manuscript to cover editorial and publication costs. The application fee will be communicated to the author on the event of selection of Manuscript for Publication.
